The Metropolitan Police Department today released more photos of missing eight-year-old girl Relisha Rudd, as well as the man she is believed to be with.

“Our role is to find her,” Chief Cathy Lanier said, telling reporters that she would only release information that will help find the missing girl. “If it’s not going to help us, it could hurt us.”

Lanier told the public that “no bit of information is too small,” adding that police are running down every tip and lead that comes in: “And we will continue to do so until we find her.” She said a “significant team” of officers is looking for Relisha.

Commenting on the confusion surrounding when Relisha was last with her mother, Lanier said they are looking for a child who they cannot confirm has been seen “in at least a couple of weeks.”

Relisha Rudd was reported missing on Wednesday, March 19, with published reports stating that she hadn’t been with her mother since February 26. Police believe she’s with Kahlil Malik Tatum, a 51-year-old janitor at the D.C. General homeless shelter where she was staying with her family. Tatum has been charged with the murder of his wife by Prince George’s County Police.

“A reward of up to $25,000 is offered to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case,” according to the FBI.
