A few months ago, we posted about a new track from Chain & The Gang’s newest LP and now that track has a music video.

The anti-gentrification anthem “Devitalize” takes aim at the city’s rapidly developing neighborhoods and the huge population increase in recent years, so it’s fitting that the video features the band decked out in classic punk attire performing over a green screen of images of old D.C. There’s a powerful statement about the city, gentrification, history, and punk, or whatever, but damn, that’s a lot of denim for one music video.
