If you’re tired of hearing Uncle Earl jokes, too bad, because a bunch of comedians are roasting Mayor Vince Gray. Well, a comedian playing the part of Vince Gray, that is.

Like they’ve done with Dan Snyder, Bao Bao, and the Metro, the Capital City Showcase’s DMV Roast series is taking on D.C.’s mayor, who just lost an election.

The whole thing goes down on May 6 at The Brixton (901 U Street NW) at 8 p.m. The role of Vince Gray will be portrayed by local comedian Haywood Turnipseed, Jr. It’s all free and if it sucks, at least there will be drink specials until 10 p.m.
