We’re midway through D.C.’s favorite holiday, Potholepalooza, and already the District Department of Transportation is on pace to make it a record-setting year.

Since kicking off the annual pothole-filling-in-expedited-time campaign on April 9 (nearly a full month after it was originally scheduled to get underway), DDOT says they’ve already filled 4,723 potholes. That’s just a small fraction of the over 34,000 potholes they’ve filled so far this year. To wit: DDOT crews have filled a total of 24,910 potholes during Potholepalooza since the annual campaigns started in 2009. That’s a lot of potholes.

But there’s still three weeks of Potholepalooza left. If you want to report a pothole, you can do so by either: A) Calling 311; B) Visiting 311.dc.gov; C) Tweeting at DDOT; D) Emailing DDOT at potholepalooza@dc.gov; E) Checking out the Potholepalooza Facebook page; or F) Using the DC311 smartphone app. During Potholepalooza, crews will fill reported potholes in 48 hours or less.
