Rides in more than 1,400 cabs in D.C. will now come with the option to watch NBC4.

Local news and weather will be available in cabs that contract with VeriFone Systems, one of the several approved payment service providers in D.C. In addition to local news and weather updates, there will be a ticker with updates and headlines, according to a release. These taxis will also show primetime, late-night and news programs from NBC.
