A new Google Street View option is not so much a time machine, as some have described it, but a time capsule. Users will now be able to see images collected since 2007 at selected sites across the country. Just look for a clock symbol in the upper left hand corner.

In a rapidly changing D.C., changes in certain areas (think CityCenter DC) will be dramatic. Google has thus far included The Howard Theatre, which underwent a major renovation between 2010 and 2012. The feature doesn’t seem to be in place for everyone quite yet (me!), so you may have to check back to explore.
