>> The “Reminisce” party is back for its monthly appearance at Liv. DJs 2-Tone Jones and Underdog are in charge of the turntables for this all ’90s music event. Free before 11 p.m.
>> The Freedom Party returns to D.C. with a ’90s jam with its proprietors: Herbert Holler, DJ Cosi and Marc Smooth. Joining them at the Howard Theatre for an evening of everything musically dope from the 1990s is D.C.’s own Jahsonic. $20. 11 p.m.
Sunday:
>> Formulated in New Orleans, but with some ties locally, Water Seed is a soul band whose Wonder Love 2 album draws off the influences of the group’s five members and musical culture of their base city. They’ll be at Takoma Station. $TBA. 7 p.m.
