Rejoice, doughnut aficionados, the D.C. Donut Crawl—a bicycle-led tour of some of the District’s doughnut shops—is returning next month.

While last year’s event was something of a grassroots event—doughnut enthusiasts visiting their favorite doughnut spots in the city on bike—this year’s ride is adding a fundraiser element. The event’s organizers say they are teaming up with Food For Life, an advocacy group that “uses food to educate and train low-income young adults in Washington, D.C.,” and proceeds from the crawl will support the local initiative.

Erik Luchauer, the last year’s organizer, says he partnered up with doughnut enthusiast Will Fischer this year, who planned a similar crawl in St. Louis called the Tour D’Onut. This year’s crawl is happening on June 7, with participants arriving at Mount Vernon Square between 9 and 10 a.m. to check in. Crawlers will leave in waves, making stops at Golden Brown Delicious, Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken, and ending at an after-party hosted by District Doughnut.

But if that seems like kind of a light “crawl,” you’re not mistaken. Last year’s event stopped at four different stops—GBD, Astro, District Doughnut, and Chocolate Crust. Though in fairness, D.C.’s doughnut scene is pretty small (at least for now). Anyway, Registration is $20 and includes a doughnut at each stop as well as a Donut Crawl spoke card.

And if you’re wondering “why the doughnut worship?,” Luchauer said this in a release (apologies for the pun): “Nearly every cuisine has unique fried dough to call its own. Around the world, you find beignets, bomboloni, berliners…all strikingly similar to the quintessential American donut. I do-nut know of a better way to enjoy them than on my bike.”
