Heads up, craft beer enthusiasts: DC Brau’s tasting room will temporarily close to the public after growler hours on May 17th.
Brandon Skall, one of DC Brau’s owners, says the brewery is expanding and needs to use the space in order to facilitate said expansion. Skall says that in order to complete the expansion quickly, they’ve hired a construction crew to work on weekends, when growler hours and tours happen.
DC Brau’s expansion includes the installation of six new tanks, which will increase the brewery’s production by an estimated 50 percent. Skall says that the construction could last as long as six weeks, but estimates the tasting room could be reopened as early as the second week of June.
