The fifth annual Sweetlife Festival is tomorrow, headlined by Lana Del Ray in her area debut plus Foster the People. Also on the bill is electro-funk duo Chromeo, who will release their fourth album, White Women, next Tuesday. The record is currently streaming on iTunes radio and is worth a listen. Chromeo constantly makes catchy funk music with Dave 1’s sweet croon and P-Thugg’s robotic yelps. White Women is much like the band’s last record, Business Casual, which saw the band teaming with guest singers like La Roux’s Elly Jackson and 2013 Sweetlife performer Solange. Solange makes an appearance on White Women, on the sensual duet “Lost on the Way Home.” The track has an ’80s vibe that is reminiscent of Solange’s True EP.

Chromeo plays tomorrow at Merriweather Post Pavillion as part of the Sweetlife Festival. Few tickets are available and they are $95.
