For some commuters, everyday is bike to work day. But this Friday will be even better because it’s Bike To Work Day with capital letters and an official proclamation. That means there will be 79 pit stops in D.C., Maryland and Virginia where registered cyclists can get a free t-shirt and some snacks, plus enter into a prize raffle and hang out with other like-minded people.

While the majority of the pit stops are holding events during the morning commuter, four will host ones in the evening: Columbia Heights Plaza, East Falls Church, College Park Metro station The Blairs pit stop.
