Road rage: It’s something every driver, cyclist and pedestrian in D.C. has likely experienced, whether on the receiving end or — admit it! — delivering the rage. With that in mind, it’s not surprising that D.C. was named the fourth least courteous city in a survey on driver behavior.

The survey was conducted by AutoAdvantage, a company that wants to sell you roadside assistance, and measured “behavior, observation and attitudes related to ‘road rage'” in 25 major cities. People surveyed drive during rush hour at least three days a week.

Since 2009, when the survey was first conducted, D.C. has fallen 16 spots. Is this bad behavior being imported? Is it the horrid congestion? Are we awful drivers? All of the above and so much more.
