In response to the latest awful ad from anti-Islam blogger Pamela Geller currently being displayed on Metro buses, a national group will offer free Qurans to anyone in D.C. who wants one.

The most recent ad from Geller, who runs what the Southern Poverty Law Center has called a hate group, states that “Islamic Jew-hatred is in the Quran.” In a release, the Council on American-Islamic Relations called the ad “false and inflammatory,” and encourages interested people to obtain a Quran through their site. (There’s a shipping and handling fee, but a CAIR representative said people who cannot afford that can contact him directly.)

In response to Geller’s 2012 ad, which quotes the Quran next to the burning Twin Towers and was ruled protected speech by a federal judge, CAIR put up their own ad which read: “Show forgiveness, speak for justice and avoid the ignorant.”
