FILM: DC Labor FilmFest, the seven-week long festival about “work, workers and workers’ issues,” continues tonight with a screening of Trash Dance. The film follows the lives of trash collectors and ends with an “extraordinary spectacle” on the airport runway featuring two dozen trash collectors and their trucks. COMEDY: Michael Ian Black, comedian, actor, director, director, screenwriter, and author, brings his stand-up comedy to the 9:30 Club. (815 V Street NW) 7 p.m. $25

WEDNESDAY: Free outdoor movies are back in NoMa. The 13-week outdoor film series, which will highlight the most “Unlikely Friendships,” kicks off with Back to the Future. (2nd and L streets NE) Movie begins at dark. Free.

THURSDAY: Hospitality trade organization Industree is “Hailing Vs,” but welcoming Ps too. “Hail to the V” features four panels of over a dozen women who are changing the food and beverage industry in D.C. Carla Hall will “Femme-C,” and guests can try food and drink from D.C.’s best women-owned concepts. E Street Cinema (555 11th Street NW) 6 p.m. $50-60
