I know, I know, we’ve been bugging the hell out of you to come to the concert we’ve partnered up with Union Kitchen, DC DIT, and Metro Mutts to put on, but it’s only because DCist loves you and it’s going to be a really, really fun time.

So here it is, the last post* you’ll read about the concert we’re throwing Saturday. It’s happening at the The Lot @ Atlantic Plumbing (where District Flea was held). It starts at 5 p.m. with a Canines and Cocktails Happy Hour courtesy of Metro Mutts. Music will start at 7 p.m. and go until 10 p.m.

The Effects—a new band featuring members of Medications, Deleted Scenes, and Buildings—along with psychedelic post-punk outfit Paperhaus, and melodic EDM producer Outputmessage are all playing. There will be food trucks. Your DCist editors and writers will be there. Some other people, hopefully. All in all, it will be a swell time and we hope to see you there.
