COCKTAILS: Capital Connoisseurs, a D.C. event planning business specializing in beverage-based happenings, is offering 25 people the opportunity to learn the tips and tricks of mixing three classic cocktails. MUSIC: Center Stage, “a cultural diplomacy initiative that connects foreign artists with American communities through the performing arts,” brings Pakistan’s underground indie-rock group, Poor Rich Boy, to the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage (2700 F Street NW) 6 p.m. Free.
