Abby Wood, Smithsonian’s National Zoo

Because it’s Friday, and you need something nice to look at on a Friday, here are some pictures of National Zoo’s youngest lion cubs, who made their public debut today.

Beginning tomorrow, the cubs—along with their mom, Shera, aunt Naba, and half-siblings/cousins — will be on exhibit every day beginning at 11 a.m., weather permitting. The cubs were born on March 2 and passed their swim test in May. Two other cubs born in January went on exhibit on May 9.

It’s almost the weekend, people! Hang in there!
