D.C. isn’t the only city in the region who has to deal the occasional escaped animal. WNEW reports that a bull escaped from a slaughterhouse in Baltimore this morning and was spotted running around downtown streets.
Eventually, police caught up to the bull and, well, lets just say he met his fate anyway. According to Baltimore police, the bull was shot at about 10:15 a.m. in the Mount Vernon neighborhood of the city. Police say the bull escaped from a slaughterhouse in west Baltimore before numerous calls came in from local businesses reporting that the animal was running loose in the street.
Luckily, the animal’s last few minutes of glorious, glorious freedom was captured on video before things took a turn for the grim.
