Uber’s less expensive uberx option is now even cheaper in D.C. For how long? They aren’t saying.

Fares are now 25 percent less expensive, with the company saying, “These fares may only last a limited time, but the more you ride, the more likely they’ll last.” When asked to expand on that, an Uber spokesperson said, “If riders continue to take advantage of the price drop promotion, then Uber will likely continue to offer it, which is why the promotion does not have a set end-date.”

Likely, but of course not guaranteed.
