After closing in May to expand its brewery, DC Brau’s growler hours will return on July 12.

To celebrate, the Northeast D.C. brewery will be serving Penn Quarter Porter, Daughters of Poseidon, Solidarity Summer Ale, Pauncy Stout, The Citizen, The Public, The Corruption and 9th Gate. Food from Red Apron Butchery will be available.

DC Brau will be open to the public from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays, with tours at the top of 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. The expansion that led to the temporary closure included the installation of six new tanks, increasing DC Brau’s “production capability by nearly 50 percent.”
