OFFICE WARMING: Restaurant app company Venga just moved into a new office near Union Market. They are pretty much obligated to throw a party to celebrate. New Venga Office (500 Penn Street NE) 6-10 p.m. Free, but RSVP here.

VA BEER: The Heurich House Museum’s monthly series “History and Hops” is back. This month they are featuring tastes of the Roseland, Va. brewery, Devil’s Backbone. Only four tickets remain. Heurich House Museum (1307 New Hampshire Avenue NW) 6:30-8:30 p.m. $30

PHILLY BEER: Philadelphia’s Yard’s Brewing Company, specializing in British-inspired pale ale, is taking over ten of City Tap House’s draft lines. City Tap House’s culinary director Brian Cooke will also be whipping up the perfect pairings for these brews, including cheesesteaks, pretzels, and buttercake.
