Totally called it: Union Market is going to be the next local music festival hotbed.
Local music blog All Things Go announced today that they’re throwing the inaugural All Things Go Fall Classic at Dock 5, the large warehouse space—with both indoor and outdoor parts—in September. Last month, U Street Music Hall initiated the space as the potential new go-to venue space in D.C. for day-long music festivals with their inaugural Union BBQ—an all-day EDM festival.
The All Things Go Fall Classic features a pretty stellar lineup of local and regional acts, with Baltimore synth-pop outfit Future Islands headlining. Also on the bill are Tove Lo, HAERTS, Bear Hands, US Royalty, Panama Wedding, Sun Club, and Young Summer. Like the Union BBQ, this festival will also feature a curated food market including Toki Underground, The Bespoke Kitchen, Takorean, Dolcezza and others.
The shebang goes down on September 13th from noon to 10 p.m. Early bird tickets are on sale now for $45 and will jump up to $50 on August 6th.
