You don’t have to do anything with this information. If you have cable and want to be alone in your shame to watch Sharknado 2: The Second One, we understand. But just in case, here a three options for bar viewing.

Ventor Sports Cafe (2411 18th Street NW) will host a watch party at 8 p.m. with giveaways from sponsor Landshark, drink specials and shark tacos. Troublemaker (2337 18th Street NW), occupying the former Pharmacy Bar space, will also host a watch party, serve a special “Shark & Stormy” drink and give away popcorn: “Costumes are not required but they are very much encouraged! Chainsaws are optional but apparently very crucial when it’s raining freaking deadly sharks!” Also in Adams Morgan, Shenanigan’s Irish Pub will have the movie playing with sound.

Sharknado 2: The Second One is a sequel to a Syfy Channel movie about a storm that takes sharks out of the ocean and brings them to land so they can terrorize actors whose careers are at an end. Sorry, Vivica A. Fox.
