BREAKING: Nationals Park was ravaged by a freak force of nature last night. The condition of racing president Teddy is still unknown.

On Wednesday, millions gathered in front of their TVs—or maybe in a local bar—to watch Sharknado 2: The Second One, the documentary sequel to last summer’s shocking documentary, Sharknado. Both films document two freak natural occurrences in which tornadoes formed in the ocean, lifting hundreds of deadly, man-eating sharks out of the water, and moving into populated urban cities—first L.A., and just recently, New York City.

Just as it happened last year, a freak Sharknado found its way to D.C.—more specifically, to Nationals Park, where it briefly touched down during the president’s race.

Unlike in both documentaries, the damage at Nats Park was minimal. In fact, the only victim appeared to be Teddy. Here’s some eyewitness footage, via DC Sports Bog:

Once again, D.C. was spared the catastrophic damage that L.A. and NYC suffered—with the New York Mets’ stadium being one of the great casualties of the freak storm. At least this time. With reports of a third Sharknado brewing, many are speculating that D.C. could suffer the same fate as the other two cities. Nats Park better gear up with “Free Chainsaw Night.”
