KARAOKE: District Karaoke, the team-based karaoke league, hosts its citywide finals. Eight teams (five division champions and three wild card teams) will compete for the chance to be named citywide champions. Expect singing to be accompanied by crazy costumes and dance routines. BASEBALL: Smithsonian Associates presents “The Most Powerful Man in Baseball? An Evening with Superagent Scott Boras.” Former Washington Senators stadium announcer Phil Hochberg will lead a panel with Washington Nationals TV and radio host Phil Wood, Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post and Scott Boras, the only agent to negotiate three $200 million contracts.
