It’s that time of the year again: Restaurant Week.
The biannual celebration of D.C.’s restaurants—or at least ones that are a part of the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington—officially kicked off yesterday and lasts until Sunday. Per usual, lunches at every participating restaurant will be $20.14, while dinners will cost you $35.14. Is that a good deal? Well, the Washington City Paper did yeoman’s work to crunch the numbers and found that, no, it is not. But of course, it’s the experience you’re paying for, as someone would probably counter-argue.
This year, more than 200 restaurants are participating. What’s worth going to? Where should you avoid, if you’re not into restaurant week? Consult this guide here to track down all the participating restaurants (haha, did you think we were going to list all 200-plus restaurants here? Hell no). As for what’s really worth your hard-earned money? Well, stay tuned later this week to find out.
