A funeral was held today for a murdered D.C. toddler as Prince George’s County police continue to search for the man they suspect in her killing.
Knijah Bibb was killed inside a Landover, Md. home she was visiting on August 10. Police allege that 25-year-old Davon Wallace was involved in an altercation outside the home and later returned with a gun, which he fired at the house several times. The three-year-old girl, who police believe was not the intended target, died at a hospital.
A funeral service was held for Bibb today at the Unity Baptist Church in Northeast D.C. A memorial fund has been set up in her honor.

Police in Prince George’s County last week announced the arrest of 24-year-old Brian Ray, who they allege assisted Wallace by giving him a gun and driving him from the crime scene. At a press conference today, police said they are still seeking tips to locate Wallace, who they believe is still in the D.C. area.
“You need to turn yourself in,” Bibb’s mother told NBC4. “You took a life that can never be replaced.”
A $25,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment. Anyone with information is asked to call 301-772-4925 or 1-866-411-TIPS.
