A man with the last name Stoner was arrested in Orange County, Va. this week for allegedly — you ready for this? — possessing $10,500 worth of marijuana plants.
From a release:
Law enforcement had previously obtained information that the resident there, Paul Stoner, was involved in the distribution of marijuana to juveniles. During the search warrant Law enforcement officials located an outdoor marijuana grow near the residence of Paul Stoner.
Investigators seized from the property, marijuana plants, loose marijuana, drug paraphernalia, prescription medication, needles, spoons, item’s related to illegal narcotics use and multiple firearms. The street value of the Marijuana plants seized is $10,500.
At this time Paul Scott Stoner, 42 years of age has been charged with manufacturing Marijuana, and possession of a firearm while in possession of more than a pound of Marijuana. This investigation is still ongoing and further charges are pending.
Last July, a man named Edwin Honesty was arrested for allegedly making a fake bomb threat to the Alexandria courthouse.
