Via FBI.As the search continues for Davon Wallace, the suspect in the murder of D.C. toddler Knijah Amore Bibb, the Prince George’s County Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced an increase in the reward for information leading to his arrest.
In addition to the PGPD’s reward of up to $25,000, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 to anyone who comes forward with information that leads to an arrest.
On August 10th, three-year-old Bibb was killed inside the Landover, Md. home she was visiting. According to police, Wallace was allegedly involved in an argument with a man outside the home, left, and later returned with a gun and opened fire on the house. Bibb—who investigators say was not the intended target—was struck by a bullet and later died at the hospital as a result of her injuries.
The Maryland United States Attorney’s Office charged Wallace with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Authorities believe Wallace might be hiding in or around D.C., Richmond, Va., or Winston-Salem, N.C. Wallace is described as a black man, about 6′ tall, weighing about 160 to 190 pounds, and having a tattoo on his neck. He may also wear glasses.
PG County police already arrested 24-year-old Brian Ray in connection to the murder. Police allege that Ray assisted Wallace by giving him the gun and helping him flee the crime scene.
Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or the Prince George’s County Police Department at 301-772-4925.
