Rent the Runway plans to open a location in Georgetown.

The company, which rents designer gowns and accessories to consumers sane (or broke) enough not to buy them, will open the retail space in mid-November, according to the groups that brokered the deal, EastBanc and Jamestown. Rent the Runway will be located at 3336 M Street NW. It already has two locations in New York and one in Las Vegas.

“Washington is a sophisticated city with numerous work events and black tie functions scheduled every night of the week,” Philippe Lanier, vice president of EastBanc, said in a release. “Washingtonians want red carpet looks without wardrobe repeats and Rent the Runway offers patrons singular fashion sensations at an affordable price.”

Indeed, on Rent the Runway’s website a Catherine Deane gown that retails for $2,450 is available to rent for $80, while a $3,000 Reem Acra rents for just $70. Considering a cocktail costs $15 on average in #ThisTown, that’s a deal.
