In addition to the Metro experiencing scheduled track work this weekend, there’s a number of events going on that’s going to case some road closures. From races to street festivals to Bill Maher, here’s all the shit going on this weekend that’s going to make driving in D.C. a headache, per the District Department of Transportation. “Ugh.” —future you.

FRIDAY

Real Time with Bill Maher

Real Time with Bill Maher will tape at the the Sidney Harman Hall. These streets will be closed to motorists from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.:

  • 6th and F Street NW (Sydney Harmen Theater).
  • South on 6th Street from F Street NW to Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
  • Westbound on Pennsylvania Avenue NW from 6th Street to 13th Street NW.
  • Northbound on 13th Street from Pennsylvania Avenue NW to the 500 block of 13th Street NW

SATURDAY

Race for Every Child
The Race for Every Child will take place on Saturday for most of the day, causing the following road closures:

  • Start at 12th and Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
  • East on Pennsylvania Avenue NW towards 3rd Street NW.
  • South on 3rd Street NW to D Street SW.
  • West on D Street SW to 4th Street SW.
  • North on 4th Street NW to Independence Avenue SW.
  • West on Independence Avenue SW to 7th Street SW.
  • Turn around and travel east on Independence Avenue SW to 3rd Street SW.
  • North on 3rd Street SW to Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
  • West on Pennsylvania Avenue NW to the 12th Street NW.
  • Race will terminate and disband at 12th and Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

The Big Build
From 6 a.m, to 8 p.m. on Saturday, the following streets will be closed for The Big Build:

  • F Street between 4th & 5th Streets NW.

Taste of Georgetown
The following streets will be closed on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the annual Taste of Georgetown:

  • K Street NW between Wisconsin Avenue & Thomas Jefferson Street NW.

SUNDAY

Adams Morgan Day Festival
The annual Adams Morgan Day Festival will take place on Sunday, causing the following road closures from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m.:

  • 18th Street NW between Florida Avenue and Columbia Road NW.
  • 1800 block of Belmont Road NW, Wyoming Avenue NW, and Vernon Street NW.
  • 1700 block of Euclid Street NW by Unity Park.
  • Kalorama Road NW will be closed from Columbia Road NW past 18th Street NW to the business alley in the 1700 block.
  • California Street NW will be closed from Florida Avenue NW to 19th Street NW.
