SCIENCE: Art and science are often separated, but during tonight’s D.C. Science event, “A Chemist’s View of Cultural Treasures,” you’ll learn how science has been incorporated into famous works of art. Barbara Berrie, a chemist at the National Gallery of Art, will describe how artists have blended more than paint in primary colors to get the hue they were looking for.
