The Washington Nationals are playoff bound. Repeat: THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS ARE PLAYOFF BOUND!

For the second time in three years, the Nats clinched the NL East division title last night, in a 3-0 win against the Braves in at Atlanta. Though it would have been a treat to have the Nats clinch the division here in D.C., it was an especially sweet victory considering the Braves won the division title last year.

With the Nats securing a playoff spot, tickets for the post-season games will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. Though the playoff schedule isn’t set yet—not until the season wraps up—we do know that the Nats will play their first playoff game on October 3.
