The Washington Nationals’ playoff hopes were secured weeks ago, but the team still managed to go out with a bang in their final game of the regular season. Yesterday, Jordan Zimmermann threw the first no hitter in the team’s history.

It all came down to one final pitch—a rocket down the middle to Miami Marlins outfielder Christian Yelich. Yelich nailed it, sending it clear into the outfield. It looked like Yelich was about to rob Zimmermann of his no hitter, until left fielder Steven Souza Jr. came sprinting and made a incredible diving catch.
