After getting millions in tax incentives from the state of Maryland, House of Cards was back in D.C. this week filming for at least the second time this year.
In the past few days, crews have been spotted on George Washington University’s campus, outside DAR Constitution Hall and at the FDR Memorial, where Kevin Spacey (a.k.a. Frank Underwood) was reportedly seen.

According to a spokesperson for D.C.’s Office of Motion Picture and Television Development, House of Cards had not received any money from a film incentive fund. Netflix won’t comment on shows in production, so we don’t know exactly where the show is filming and which characters are involved. But at least we won’t be subjected to a fake Washington Monument next season.
