You’ve seen the National Mall portrait from the ground, the Washington Monument and from a helicopter. Now behold Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada’s “Out Of Many, One” — from space!

These satellite images from DigitalGlove were shared by the National Portrait gallery, which commissioned the six-acre portrait, which is made of 800 tons of topsoil, 2,000 tons of sand and eight miles of string. It will be on display until October 30.
