We’re less than a month away from the election and candidates are going all in to try and win your vote.

Yesterday, Councilmember Muriel Bowser (D-Ward 4) released a new ad that featured her voice synched over other people talking. And that’s not even the weirdest ad we’ve seen this season. Last month, Councilmember David Catania (I-At Large) released an ad featuring only puppets.

And today, Catania has unleashed yet another campaign ad, but this one is markedly puppet-less. Instead, it’s a pretty straightforward ad with Catania appearing in front of the camera asking D.C. residents for their vote. Here’s what he says:

“Our city’s next mayor will face big challenges. If elected, I’ll work hard every day, so that our public schools are excellent for every child in every neighborhood, no exceptions. I’ll fight inequality and increase opportunity. I’ve laid out a detailed vision for our city, and I’ll keep my promises. Together, let’s build a city based on our shared values: Equal opportunity for all, fairness, and playing by the rules. I’m David Catania. This November, I’m asking for your vote.”
