The D.C. food scene continues to prove that it has some of the best restaurants in the country. Both in quality and financially.

Among them: Old Ebbitt Grill, which brought in $26,687,861 in 2013; The Hamilton, which made $17,855,655 in 2013, and Sequoia, which made $15,000,00 in 2013.

There’s also a quite a few Virginia and Maryland restaurants, including Springfield’s Mike’s “American,” Rockville’s Tower Oaks Lodge, Reston’s Jackson’s Mighty Fine Food & Lucky Lounge, Fairfax’s Coastal Flats, and Falls Church’s Sweetwater Tavern.
