The National Weather Service must be broken because we did not receive any emergency alert text messages about tornado warnings in D.C. Sorry, sharknado warnings.

Ask and ye shall receive, D.C. because Syfy Channel confirmed today that Sharknado 3 will take place all along the East Coast, including D.C.

But how much of it will take place in D.C.? It’s unclear at this point, but IGN reports that Syfy and Chiller President Dave Howe said that our nation’s capital will get “what it deserves,” as a tornado carrying sharks moves along the East Coast all the way to Orlando.

Save us Tara Reid, you’re our only hope.
