While a man who jumped the White House fence was able to enter the building with a knife in September, that did not happen this week, as two Secret Service officers took down a jumper on the North Lawn.
The officers, in this case, are two Belgian Malinois, Jordan and Hurricane, who were bruised but not seriously hurt in the line of duty. Among the many charges pressed against the alleged jumper, Dominic Adesanya, he is facing a count of assaulting law enforcement officers. These particular officers just happen to enjoy walks and playing with a Kong toy.

While these Secret Service officers are rightly being celebrated, let’s not forget about D.C.’s most famous police dog, Sam the bloodhound, who recently celebrated his birthday.
