The Metropolitan Police Department has released a video showing eight persons of interest in an armed sexual assault that occurred in an unoccupied home near the Benning Road Metro station.

The assault occurred last Thursday around 11 p.m. in the 5000 blocking of Benning Road NE. WJLA reports that the victim was approached by a woman in Camp Springs, Md., asking for a ride. One in D.C., “two men armed with a shotgun took her into an abandoned row house, where other men were waiting.”

Police are also looking for a suspect who robbed and sexually assaulted a woman in the 1100 block of 16th Street NE on Thursday at around 12:15 a.m.

The suspect is described as a black male, short hair, medium complexion, approximately 5`6″ in height, in his 30`S, with a cross tattoo on his right face/cheek. He was last seen wearing a black hoody, black pants, and black shoes.

An arrest has been made in a misdemeanor sexual abuse case that took place Tuesday at around 6:30 p.m. Police say a man, 26-year-old Emmanuel Charles Horton, allegedly assaulted and exposed himself to a woman in the 6000 block of 14th Street NW. “Detectives are investigating whether the suspect may have been involved in other crimes of this nature,” according to MPD.
