Via D.C. Department of Corrections.Authorities have captured Kenneth Clayton, the man who escaped from the Washington Psychiatric Institute early this week.
Details of his capture have not been released, but he was arrested today in Manassas, Va. by police and members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force. Clayton escaped Monday through the back door of the restricted wing he was in at the Psychiatric Institute located in the 4200 block of Wisconsin Avenue NW.
He was originally arrested and charged with simple assault, assault on a police officer, threats, possession of unregistered ammunition, and being a fugitive from justice.
