For the second night in a row, thousands gathered in D.C. to rally in support of Michael Brown, the 18-year-old black teenager who was unarmed when he was shot and killed by white police officer Darren Wilson this summer.

After a Grand Jury announced on Monday that they had reached a decision not to indict Wilson, protests and demonstrations erupted across the nation, with hundreds of thousands calling for a reform in police procedures, tactics, and accountability.

Last night, thousands gathered in Mt. Vernon Square, where they took to the streets throughout downtown D.C., blocking traffic as they marched through Chinatown, down to the H Street NW Walmart, and through the I-395 tunnel.

Like Monday night, the rally was largely peaceful. While no violence or vandalism erupted, the message couldn’t be more clear: Change needs to happen.
