SYMPHONY CIRUS: Cirque de la Symphonie returns to the Kennedy Center (2700 F Street NW) with “acrobats, contortionists, jugglers, strongmen” and other acts performing while the National Symphony Orchestra plays with a live choir. Tickets are $20 and still available for Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
LIGHTS: Through Sunday, “modern light-art installations” will be lit between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. for Georgetown GLOW. “The weekend includes in-store promotions including free hot chocolate, gift wrapping, and special sales and events from more than 30 Georgetown merchants.” More details can be found here.
MARKET: The team behind MEETMarket and the Capitol Riverfront BID bring PARCEL Market to Canal Park (200 M Street SE) all weekend. Expect vendors selling fashion items, jewelry, pet accessories, home enhancements, gifts and prints, as well as a food lounge. Friday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, noon to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
SATURDAY
DEBAUCHERY: The D.C. Santa Crawl returns with 14 participating bars and $4 “holiday shots.” Tickets $20 online and $30 at the door. Santa suits not required. 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. More information can be found here.

PET PHOTOS: Both Howl To The Chief (733 8th Street SE) and Metro Mutts (508 H Street NE) will host opportunities to have your pet’s photo taken with Santa this weekend for charity. Howl to the Chief’s event, Saturday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., benefits Rural Dog Rescue. $10 donation requested. Metro Mutts’ event, Sunday between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., benefits the Washington Humane Society. $20 donation requested.
SUNDAY
ART: The Washington Sculptors Group’s Sculpture NOW 2014 closes on Sunday at American University’s Museum at the Katzen Arts Center (4400 Massachusetts Avenue NW). “Pieces [from 18 artists] chosen for the show will highlight the vibrant state of sculpture today and display an array of contemporary and traditional materials.” 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free.
MARKET: Yes, another holiday market. GRUMP at Artisphere (1101 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, Va.) will feature 75 local vendors and the opportunity to pose for a photo with a Yeti. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
