Drink up! Via DC Water.
Residents of parts of Shaw and Logan Circle under a Do Not Drink advisory since Thursday may once again consume and use their tap water.
“Residents should flush their water for [ten] minutes to remove any old water in their lines,” according to DC Water. The agency placed parts of Northwest under an advisory after petroleum was detected in the water. With two Environmental Protection Agency labs, DC Water said it will continue to seek the source of the contamination.
