Either we just gave a big middle finger to those cyber terrorists, or this is the best marketing ploy we’ve ever seen. Whichever the case, you’ll be able to see The Interview in theaters—and on demand, apparently—on Thursday.

Earlier today, Sony gave in to the enormous public outcry—and those harsh words from President Barack Obama—and agreed to release the Seth Rogen/James Franco-starring comedy in select theaters on Thursday.

So where can you see it in the D.C. area? Right now, the only theaters in the area scheduled to play it is Alamo Drafthouse’s Ashburn, Va and West End Cinema in D.C.

We’ve reached out to other area theaters—E Street Cinema, Angelika Pop-Up in Union Market and Angelika Mosaic, and the AFI Silver Theater—to see if they have any plans to show it. The AFI Silver says they aren’t, but they never had any plans to release it. We’ll update when we hear back from the others.
