A man was injured after he fell from a balcony at Northeast D.C. music venue Echostage.

The Metropolitan Police Department confirmed the Thursday incident, although the condition of the man was not released.

“Due to an unfortunate incident re: an injured guest, Echostage closed last night to work swiftly [with] local safety crews [and] health officials,” management posted on Facebook. “Patron safety is, and will always be, our number one priority. Our thoughts [and] prayers go out to Cody and his family.”

EDM DJ and producer Flux Pavilion was set to perform before the incident occurred, and tweeted about the incident. A woman who identified herself as the man’s sister said his condition was serious.
