Love drones? (In a non-militaristic kind of way). Do you not work for the federal government? Congratulations! You can go see OK GO for free tonight at the 9:30 Club.
The Chicago alt-rock band, known for its viral music videos (and, I guess, its music) is in town tonight to play a show for the Small UAV Coalition—a lobbyist group advocating for the “commercial, philanthropic, and civil use of small UAVs”—tonight.
The catch? If you’re an employee of the federal government, you have to pay $25 to get in. Also, you’ve got to sit through an hour-long lecture about why the commercial use of drones is good. But! Free OK Go concert.
Anyway, you can register to attend the free concert here. And here’s that OK Go video shot entirely with drones.
