Photo by afagenHere’s your first sign that the desolate, lonely time of the year, known to most as “winter,” is almost over: Residential street sweeping will resume soon.
The Department of Public Works announced that residential street sweeping will resume on Monday, March 2, meaning that you’ll have to obey the signs posted on your street that tell you which days of the week you can’t park there. Otherwise, you could face a $45 fine.
Street sweeping season lasts from March 1 to October 31, which roughly is the time of the year when weather consistently doesn’t suck. Cars parked along the streets during the restricted time—which is about two hours—might be towed, so that’s a warning.
Anyway, yeah, warm weather is coming soon. Also, move your car on Wednesdays, probably.
