At long last, our Long, Regional Snow Storm Nightmare is over. At 2 p.m., D.C. will lift the snow emergency.

Additionally, Metro will restore more bus service beginning at 1:30 p.m., as all major roads have been cleared and plows work to clear neighborhood roads. Metrobus will transition from a “severe snow plan” to a “moderate snow plan” at 1:30 p.m., which means many more—but not all—bus routes will operate (you can see which ones will operate here).

However, Metrorail will still operate under a Saturday schedule through the evening and MetroAccess service will remain suspended until tomorrow.
